As The Dust Settles →
This is the documentary that we created out at Burning Man last summer. Go to the website, read up on what you need to know…then wait anxiously. Everyone has been working so hard, and big things are about to start happening for the project. I can’t wait to be able to share with everyone the amazing experience I was apart of.

I’m posting this because it’s my favorite stock photography website. And today, after invitation, I registered and became an “official Getty Images contributor.” Best!

Jill Greenberg is an incredible photographer. I’ve seen her photographs everywhere, I didn’t know they were all hers until just recently. I love an artist that inspires me to want to do better, work harder, try new things - and she is one of them. Now I want to go drop the $$$ on a good ring flash. (Or somehow DIY one myself…that’s more my style.)

My year, as told through pictures.
Surprisingly enough, these aren’t even allll the pictures that I took last year - just the best representation of the people, places, and events that made 2008 one of the best.
P.S. Special thanks to my camera, for without it this year truly wouldn’t have been the same. Thank you for not giving out on me, and being by my side through…well,...

My favorite music website has posted a pretty great, and pretty extensive list featuring the best of the best of 2008. They’ve not only picked the top 50 artists, but also specific songs and albums as well. So, listen up, and catch up on what you might have missed last year.

Vacation!
This should be good, real good. Thank goodness for a “mandatory” family reunion - pulling me away from work and Reno life. I’ll be M.I.A for the next week; on a cruise ship somewhere off the Mexican coast. Hopefully when I’ll return feeling refreshed, in every way possible.
I packed 4 pairs of sunglasses for a 5 day cruise. Hopefully I’ll be able to buy some while...

JPGMag.com →
One of my favorite online photography communities, and favorite printed photography publication, is coming to an end. Just like everything else that is going to shit these days, we have our country’s wonderful economic situation to thank for this. I guess when entering the recession, I didn’t really think about how much (everything) it would effect. The end of JPGMagazine made me...
