I’ve probably spent at least an hour a day, everyday for the past month, researching the new Canon 5D Mark II. It has features, and can do things that I can’t even comprehend. This website is great because it keeps a constantly updated list of external links with reviews and samples for the camera. I’m in limbo right now. I want this camera, I feel like I need this camera, but this camera is going to cost me an arm and a leg (literally, ouch).
My original plan was to purchase this beauty as a graduation present to myself. Take whatever money I get from friends and family (the perks of graduating), and put it towards a camera that I will be able to use as I attempt to venture into the professional field of photography. It’s a cruel, dark, cold, competitive world out there for photographers, I feel like I need some sort of an edge. But is it worth the debt when I’m trying to live in a new big city?
Plus, I’m not gonna lie…I just really want the video feature - the INCREDIBLE video feature. I’m sure as hell not going to know as many people when I move out of Reno. I’m going to need something new and fun to take out into unfamiliar territory and explore with.
