Baby in the wind.
Then that day with her husband on one side and me on the other, I couldn’t have felt closer to her.

I’m excited to be apart of Pictory’s latest showcase, and to be able to share my photo of this very special day. While one of my best friend’s family grows, I can’t wait to watch little Jaelyn grow too.
One of my longest friends has been a mother for a couple months now. I’d say she’s doing a mighty fine job with that beautiful family of hers. I <3 the Hardens…and the beach…and Jaelyn’s cry face. :)
There once was a time when it would take days to develop film, and sometimes weeks before friends and family were notified of a successful birth. Now it’s digital cameras in the delivery room, and just a quick text or email before everyone is properly informed. Pretty amazing times, eh?
Corie was in labor for almost 34 hours. Giving me plenty of time for pictures while she caught up on text messages, and Matt squeezed in a little nap.
This was probably taken around 3am on June 30th, 2010, and baby Jaelyn Lee was born about 12 hours later.
Corie was incredible. I feel so fortunate that I was able to be there for one of my best friends, documenting the beginning of their family.
