Today I got some film back from Burning Man. This is Lauren driving us out to Black Rock City. This is two days after one of the craziest days in my entire life. This picture isn’t just a snapshot of a beautiful girl smiling. It’s a picture of a moment when the only other person in the world who knew how I felt was driving me through the desert to a place where anything is possible and the real world goes away. This is a picture of a feeling and I’m happy to share it with you.

I’m about to head out to Black Rock City, where 50,000 people are camped out for a week in the middle of the desert for the Burning Man festival. This will be my 5th year heading back out to the playa, and while the location never changes, my experiences every year do. I Can’t Wait! Time to get real dusty.
