Serene Lakes, CA - December 2012
My dad, part of my Jumpology series.
My father, Tim.
Yep. My kinda thanksgiving. Tim Randolph as the candy corn vampire (Taken with Instagram at The Forge)
My dad has always been the silliest - and there I am in the background, looking extremely domestic. Thanksgiving Forgegiving was a great success!
Are you there, Dad? Because sometimes I think you never aged past 13. You love video games, playing in the snow, making your famous stuffed animal bikes, and trying to take the “coolest jump picture ever.” You made my lunch every day before school and always remembered to draw a colorful picture on the bag, too. Don’t worry, though. Even with two grown daughters, you’re more youthful than ever. So let’s never stop having fun.

Thanks, Pictory, for featuring my photo as their picture of the day today! :)
On Christmas Eve, late enough for Santa to surely be making his rounds, I wanted to go on a snowy photo walk around my cabin. It was my dad’s genius idea to pull out his penguin suit (because, of course, he has one), and so…this photo exists. This is exactly how I like my walks through Winter Wonderland to be. view larger
My dad on a walk.
Sooo, my dad gave my sister and I nicknames when we were young. He called Caitlin Curly…and I was Larry.
Yep!
(November 2009)
My dad, driving up the 10, cigar in mouth. This is one of my very favorite pictures from last year, and I took it with my iPhone, and there’s no way I’d ever be able to take it again.
