Camping under the stars « Flickr Blog
Me and fellow Phoot Camper, Nate Bolt, made our way into today’s Flickr blog. We love camping! And stars! Check it out, and be sure to watch his timelapse.
P.S. This photo has been the wallpaper on my desktop since August. Ahhh.
This is an older picture, but I think I’ll continue this series, at my own rate, and on my own time.
It’s simple: people, color, and music. I love the way music opens people up, makes people comfortable, puts them in their own place. I just want to capture the diversities in musical preference and personalities - and why not throw some bright colors in there while I’m at it?
Old Alabama Town Schoolroom (via Stephen Poff)
An amazing new portrait by one of the most inspiring photographers on Flickr. You may not know, but Stephen Poff was basically the very first to start the 365 Project, which group now has over 15,000 members. His self portrait work has not only improved exponentially, but I love following his professional photography career just get better and better as well.
Still dedicated to his 365, but not posting as frequently - if you haven’t already, you really should take a look around his stream.
I’m slightly uncomfortable, and maybe a bit awkward, but it’s not sooo bad to have someone else taking my picture for a change. It was just too bright out there!
(Shot by my friend @mikehedge at Burning Man 2009.)
Woo! I surpassed 300,000 views on my Flickr stream today. Seriously insane and awesome. Now if only I had a good idea for my 365 today…

I love seeing a picture that really makes me genuinely say “That’s awesome!” Maybe it’s how it’s well done technically, or it’s something that I knew I could never produce. Or sometimes it’s just something simple, but it’s a person’s unique vision that impresses me.
This is one of those pictures, and I keep going back to look at it. Such a simple, silly, fun idea - but never would I have thought that sticking glowsticks between someone’s toes in a bathtub could make an image one of the most memorable.
If you like this artist’s work, PLEASE click the picture and tell them yourself. :)
Way to give the creeps a way to sort their favorites. I get the idea behind it all, but watching my work get placed in galleries called “Babes” or “Sexy Girls” isn’t really what I’m into. Wasn’t the Add as Favorite button enough?!
Then, I thought maybe I’d get behind the gallery idea if I could create something worthwhile. So I started compiling a great collection of photos from people I know/Have met from Flickr - but you’re only allowed to have 18 photos in a gallery, so I deleted it…and wrote this blog.

One of the most incredible photos I’ve seen on Flickr lately. I love that website, always keeping me constantly inspired. Please click the picture, to view more of the artist’s work.
It’s about damn time Flickr made their own App. I’ve been waiting sooo unpatiently!
It’s even worse when they just flat out post their own pictures in your comments. Whores suck, in real life…but even more so on the internet, I’d say.
when you have to ask someone to check out your flickr page in a comment on one of their pictures. maybe that’s just me.
