Some of Our House campers are raising money to get some finishing touches together on their art installation being built in the Burning Man Pavilion this year.
My awesome friend, Audrey Love, is one of the artists behind this project. I can’t wait to see everyone playing MIDI music out at Burning Man this year, but they need a little bit more help to make it happen!
What is The Forge, you ask?
Help us reach our goal by checking out our IndieGoGo page. You’re the best!
This creative space has become my second home in this big city. They have 10 more days left to raise the funds they need to complete this project! Watch the video (can you spot me doing my thang?) and visit the IndieGoGo page to find out more.
Just incase you hadn’t seen it yet, check out this video we made showcasing all of our amazing friends and family using The Forge studio space to its very fullest.
There’s only a week left of our IndieGoGo fundraiser, and the future growth of this community depends on it! There’s great prizes in store for our supporters - secure discounted studio rates, or collect some fine art! Either way, check it out, and if the least you can do is spread the word, then that itself is appreciated.
I moved to Los Angeles 3 years ago, and The Forge was one of the first places I felt at “home.” Whether it’s a huge Halloween event, a gathering to view a slideshow of pictures, or just a small BBQ with friends, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of this community.
And now they need your help! With just under a week left, there’s still time to donate and claim some sweet prizes in return. My 365 Book of self portraits is included in one of the packages, so if you’re interested in that - now’s your chance, for cheap!
P.S. Can you spot me in this video? :)
The wonderful people at IndieGoGo did a quick interview with me about our successful Phoot Camp Benefit. If you’re interested in starting a fundraiser of your own, the 6Q Blog offers up some good tips from other successful fundraisers as well. And thank you all for making the Benefit as great as it could have been!!
The Phoot Camp benefit is on the Indie GoGo homepage as a Featured Project right now. The overwhelming amount of positive support and feedback I have received, after having my apartment broken into and all of my equipment stolen, has truly restored my faith in the goodness of so many people. Yes, bad people do bad things - but I feel like I can’t even begin to thank all of the great people who have helped me to get me back on my feet! I definitely couldn’t have done this all without the incredible people of Phoot Camp.
There is still so much time left, so please help me by spreading the word or donating yourself. And! You can collect some amazing artwork by doing so. Win/Win!
