Santa Monica, CA - February 2013
While I’ve lived in Los Angeles for three years, today was only my second time riding the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. The rain clouds cleared after last night’s storm, and left a gorgeous crisp blue sky and sunny weather for us to enjoy. The view of the beach from the top was just priceless. #lovethiscity
Rose.
We had ourselves a little Phoot Camp meet up in Santa Monica, and I was able to shoot this portrait of the fabulous Laura Brunow Miner, founder of Pictory, inside the library at the Viceroy Hotel.
Some of the Phoot Campers stopped by LA this week. Derek Wood, Michael O’Neal, Daniel Lee and I ran around on the beach the other night snapping some pictures, and enjoying the perfect California weather.
Diana said she hadn’t been to the beach in years, so I took her, and we ran around chasing the tide.
Caitlin and Diana on the beach in Santa Monica, just at sunset. What some call “golden hour” is actually really only “golden minutes.” I couldn’t believe how firey orange the light was!
